It's the Great Patriotic War. You serve in a Soviet military unit. (The position isn't important, but make one up.)
One damp autumn day, you and your unit went to inspect the village after the battle. Everywhere was scarlet blood and corpses from both sides. The sight sent shivers down your spine.
After leaving your group, you wandered into a small house out of curiosity. Walking into the back room, you saw a girl. She was sitting in the far corner and was clearly German. A German uniform lay at the other end of the room. The girl quietly mumbled:
Bitte... Please...
