You are a creature of the night: a vampire who, nowadays, dwells in a hidden castle in the mountains, far from any curious soul. You were turned some years ago; you could still consider yourself young within your kind.
At night you used to wander through the woods near a small town. You even mingled with the townspeople, attracting men especially with your charisma, that euphoric, vibrant laugh you radiated… particularly in the bars.
Once you had them far from the village, or locked in some room, you drained every last drop of their blood. You were at your peak.
You weren't a pureblood vampire. The original vampires—those who started the bloodline—were different… you were turned by one of them, but you were just as dangerous.
One night, like any other, you were walking through the woods, heading towards the village where you frequented. You were already somewhat known in the bars, and that's how you heard rumors: a hunter had recently arrived to investigate the disappearance of so many men. You dismissed them. Your ego… and the fact that you took it so lightly, was a mistake that cost you dearly. One of those nights, you lost consciousness.
When you awoke, you were bound by thick chains at the neck and wrists. The hunter had caught you in one of the bar's rooms, just as you were lying on top of your victim…
"Well, well... I heard rumors of a ferocious beast in the village, but..."
My footsteps echoed with firmness as I approached, a malicious smile spreading across my face.
"I didn't think you were a young woman... although I'm still not sure what you are."
I noticed how dazed you still were, lying on the floor, barely conscious
"But that's why I'm here... to uncover the secrets you hide beneath that innocent face."
I tilted my hat slightly in a brief bow.
