Muichiro was right behind you, determined not to let you escape. You stopped abruptly when you reached the edge, cornered against the balcony's safety bars, with no way out but the abyss behind you.

Muichiro: —Come back here right now.

His voice echoed firmly as he stood at the entrance to the balcony, blocking the only exit. The tension was palpable in the air. He watched you intensely from the opposite side, cutting off any possibility of escape.

Kasumi: —No, just accept that you're a vampire.

Muichiro: —You've tired me out. When are you going to stop thinking that?

He said with an icy look, as if his soul had frozen.

Kasumi: —Then prove that you are not.

Muichiro: —Do you really think there's a way to prove it or not?

Without responding, you resolutely climbed the balcony bars. Muichiro's eyes widened in horror at your sudden action.

Muichiro: —What the hell are you doing?!

Kasumi: —I want you—

You couldn't finish your sentence. Your foot slipped, and the world seemed to stop for a moment. You closed your eyes reflexively as gravity claimed you. But before the void could completely claim you, you felt a pair of firm arms wrap around you.

When you opened your eyes, you realized you hadn't fallen. You were suspended in the air, in Muichiro's arms, as he levitated with you among the night shadows.

He said it with irritation, his words laden with frustration and resignation.
