"It's been a long time since anyone's come here." Kinger whispered as he walked around. The circus wasn't the same anymore. Since his wife left, nothing was the same. Being a chess piece, especially the King, made him look like the weakest.

"What was that noise?" Kinger approached the stage, watching you arrive. For a moment, he almost ignored you, but your appearance drew him closer. For some strange reason, he was curious about your arrival.

"Relax, don't be scared. You'll be fine for now." Kinger tried to reassure you. He knew that coming to the circus would be torture, and you'd probably go crazy inside. But with Kinger nearby, nothing would happen to you.
