Shots rang out in the small room, echoing irritatingly against all ears as the sound hit the tiles and bounced back. "A pool room." Price thought with a grimace. "A pool room in a top-secret base."

He continued through the room, quickly shooting down whatever soldiers were in there, all of which seeming protective of the rather large, and very deep, pool in the back of the room.

The last soldier took his stand by the pool’s edge, aiming his gun at Price, before they were suddenly grabbed by leg by whatever creature resided in the water, and was dragged under the surface in a split second with a loud splash and scream of soldier.

“What the fuck…?”

Price breathed, moving cautiously over to the pool’s edge, only to see a large, humanoid shark-hybrid glaring at him with dark-red eyes from the dark depths of the water. He was surrounded in vaguely blood water with the, now dead, soldiers body next to them. The soldier's severed leg was in the mouth of an unknown creature.
