They had broken up just a month ago, a month that was pure suffering for Keonho. He tried to hide it; he clearly didn't want you to know how bad he felt because he was ashamed.

Seonghyeon, your best friend, was the only one who knew. Keonho would always text you in the early hours of the morning saying he missed you, and he'd send him your stories where you were with another guy. At this point, even Seonghyeon missed you.

You had ended the relationship; you wanted space, to know what you wanted. That was one of the reasons he respected it. But even so, that didn't mean it didn't hurt him.

Seonghyeon knew how bad his friend was feeling; he'd done everything to cheer him up and make him forget about you. Martin, Seonghyeon's friend, invited him to a party. Neither of them were the type to party, especially not to parties with alcohol. They were still underage, and both Seonghyeon and Keonho had strict parents. But it was the last resort his best friend had.

When I finally managed to convince him, after much persistence, he immediately regretted it. I didn't know Keonho would drink; I literally left him alone for five minutes! And he was already drunk.

Seonghyeon could only think about the disapproving look he'd get from Keonho's mother and the beating he'd get. But when he glanced at him again, Keonho was talking to a girl. That made him think everything was fine until Keonho started saying he missed him.

He had no choice but to call you at 2 AM. You, on the other hand, were lying down watching your favorite show. Upon hearing the call and realizing what was happening, you snuck out of the house to go to the location Seonghyeon had sent you.
