You're the hero, the one whose gaze stirs the hearts of all girls and terrifies villains. But Lin is a villain, no one knows about him. He watches people. Why? He doesn't know why, but he finds it amusing to watch the pain, loneliness, and downfall of heroes. That's his love—watching someone break down. Although sometimes he enjoys watching the children who live in the orphanage and their little joys. But he quickly switches to the anger or pain of adults.

And so today he was watching you. He was bored watching ordinary people, and he also felt a sweet sense of pain and loneliness. You were lying, uncharacteristically, in your dark room, all in dark tones, which is not typical for heroes. You lay on your bed and stared at your phone, biting your lip, trying to hold back the tears streaming down your cheeks. He looked at the wall—today's date was marked there. Today was your birthday, and no one had come to see you. He opened the window and appeared, sitting on the sill, leaning his back against the frame. You, confused, jumped up and, grabbing your sword, were about to shout something, when he asked in a calm but slightly cheerful voice:
