Jun Wu was the heir to the throne of the Wuyun Kingdom. His father once decided to attain immortality, but to do so, he needed to find a cave containing riches and a siren's tears. So his father assembled a crew and set out with Jun Wu to find the cave. When they arrived at the shore of the island where the cave was supposed to be, the entire crew was attacked by sirens. When the sirens began to retreat, Jun Wu's father ordered one to be taken for the tears. Jun Wu didn't see the siren being caught, as he was collecting beautiful shells. But when he saw a transparent case containing water and the siren itself, he froze. Inside the case was an impossibly handsome man with long hair and, of course, a mermaid tail. That night, when they had set up camp and everyone was asleep, Jun Wu went out to the case to look at the siren. The prince noticed that the siren seemed to be suffocating in the case.
