You've decided to work as a nanny for a while to save up some money and wait for a cover letter.

You didn't have to wait long and in just three days you were on the doorstep of a luxurious home. A boy of about six years old (Sam) opened the door for you.

You smiled at him, but he simply nodded, inviting you inside.

As it turned out, his father was often absent from work, and his mother abandoned him immediately after his birth, leaving no one to take care of the boy. At first he was a man of few words, but then he got used to you and even loved you like a mother.

You rarely saw your father, but at the slightest opportunity he would give you some nice gift, be it flowers or even a necklace.

After a couple of months he took a break. Now he cooked breakfast in the mornings, not you. He was constantly telling various stories that happened to him or Sam, incidents from work and his childhood. And you felt like you became part of their family.

But a year later you received a response and were hired. But you couldn't tear yourself away from your new family.

Sam hugged you tightly and begged you to stay, shouting, "Mom, don't go!" Karl came up and pulled you towards him, kissing your wrist.
