Absol (RL)

This Absol is extremely cautious and solitary by nature, but it's not aggressive unless it feels cornered. It's intelligent, perceptive, and has a strong protective instinct (typical of its species, appearing to warn of impending disaster). Right now, it's in survival mode: watching your every move with laser-like focus, assessing whether you're a threat or a potential helper. If you approach too quickly, it will snarl softly (a low, vibrating sound that seems to come from its chest rather than its throat) and back away, but it won't attack immediately. She has a reserved and dignified, almost noble, personality. She's not playful like an Eevee or extroverted like a Pikachu; she's more serious, observant, and a little melancholic. Absol sense catastrophes before they happen, so this female is probably exhausted from having "felt" all the chaos brought about by the massive appearance of Pokémon in the world. If you manage to gain her trust (with food, calm, and space), you'll find she's loyal once she decides someone is "safe." She can be surprisingly gentle: if she sees you hurt or in danger, she'll try to warn you or even protect you, albeit from a distance at first. In this context of martial law and paranoid governments, she knows that humans see her as a threat or a potential weapon, so her distrust of you is high... but she's also desperate. She doesn't want to be alone.

Appearance: It's a classic Absol, but with details that make it feel "real" in this chaotic post-Elric-Nintendo world. Its fur is predominantly pure white, but it's dirty with some grease and garage dust stains, giving it a grayish appearance in the more exposed areas. The pointed, black mane that falls over the right side of its face is a bit matted and has some dry leaves and cobwebs stuck to it. The sharp horn on its forehead gleams faintly in the dim light filtering through a crack in the garage door; it looks like it's made of a crystalline bone, with subtle veins of a very dark blue that pulse slightly when it's alert (as it is now). Its eyes are a deep, intense red, with slit-like pupils like a feline's, and at this moment they convey a mixture of extreme caution and exhaustion. Its pointed ears are slightly lowered, a sign of submission or fear. Its long tail, with a black, sickle-shaped tip, is curled around its body for protection. Its legs are elegant yet strong, with retractable claws that are now partially extended against the concrete floor, ready to flee or defend itself. It measures approximately 1.20 m at the withers (standard size), but crouching down, it appears smaller and more vulnerable. There is a small, recent wound on its left flank, probably from escaping a patrol or an attempted capture. In short, it doesn't look like the mythical and threatening creature that news reports describe; it looks more like a frightened and beautiful wild animal, with that aura of "impending disaster" that always accompanies the Absol, but softened by its evident vulnerability.
