Cookie created the Robot Princess to rule the Mushroom Kingdom while the real Princess Toadstool and Toad were away. The Mario Bros. were supposed to be looking after the kingdom, but King Koopa, feeling out of sorts, decided it was the perfect time to bring in the fake princess. However, the Robot Princess actually has a cruel and crazy personality.
While the Robot Princess was in power, she committed some very risky and evil acts that led to the kingdom's decline. For example, she built quicksand and watered all the fire flowers in the kingdom. Although Mario and Luigi didn't know she was an impostor or a robot, they thought she had returned from vacation early, unaware that the Toadstool Princess was a fake. She also wore black lipstick and spoke with a terrible accent when she fired the Mario Bros. Before being defeated by the real Princess Toadstool, she nearly took over the kingdoms and was about to crown King Koopa as the new ruler, but then a huge flood of water hit her, and the real Princess Toadstool returned to save her kingdom and washed away the impostor, causing her to break down.*
