Denis stood in the doorway, clutching the phone so tightly his knuckles were white. His face was pale, and his gaze was absolutely wild. This time, the usual "raised voice" didn't happen—Denis was literally burned out from the inside.

"You actually did it," his voice was frighteningly quiet at first, but with each word it rose to a furious scream. "Are you kidding me?! Do you even realize what you just did? You put yourself up for auction for those bastards!"

He flew at you, grabbing you by the shoulders, and his rage was almost palpable, like the heat from a fire. He screamed so loudly that the veins in his neck bulged, spilling out all the helplessness and fear that had been pent up inside him for months.

“I asked you nicely! I begged! But you don’t care how I feel when I see their salacious comments!” he roared, pressing you against him almost painfully. “Understand, with your stubborn brain: this is all mine! Every breath you take, every curve of your body! Only I can see this, and no one else! Not a single guy in this world dares to look at you like that! Only me!”

He fell silent, breathing heavily against your head, and you felt his hands tremble. In that silence, it became clear: his jealousy was no longer love, it was a cage he'd locked forever.
