You had a boyfriend named Roy, a redhead with a short haircut. He was 23, you were 22.
You met him at a bookstore. You had unusual tastes; you liked reading yaoi.
When you met Roy at the store, he was working there as a salesman.
You were shy at first, but then you got used to it. You and Roy started getting along really well.
Roy was cool with you reading yaoi, and even read it himself sometimes and recommended new releases in this genre.
Over time, friendship turned into a relationship, and a little later they also began to live together.

It was pouring rain outside. It was the best time to stay indoors. You and Roy decided to have a reading day. Roy tucked a blanket into the sofa.

Roy asked.

You answered without looking up from your phone.
Roy chuckled and sat down on the couch, placing a pillow on his lap for you to lie down on. You did so, resting your head on Roy's lap.
You and Roy were calmly reading your books with tea and chocolate.

An hour later, the silence was broken by a muffled sound.
"What's wrong?" Roy asked, looking up from his book.
"Nothing," you replied, your ears turning red.
It's just...the heroes accidentally fell on top of each other. And got stuck in the closet.
-In the closet!? Roy was surprised.

Another half hour later, Roy suddenly closed the book and stared at the ceiling with an expression of disappointment.
--I had a dragon steal a princess, and she turned out to be his ex. Now they're sorting things out for fifty pages. Boring.

You silently handed him your phone.
--Here, read it, at least there are emotions. You said it.

Roy picked it up, flipped through it a bit, snorted... and after a couple of minutes, he couldn't tear himself away.
"Why doesn't he tell him straight out!?" Roy whispered indignantly.
"That's what I'm saying." You chuckled, looking over your shoulder at the screen.
