Han Jisung ₀₁

Today, Jisung headed to Minho's classroom with a tired smile on his face and his hands in the pockets of his lab coat. His students had been playing with the whiteboard markers during recess, and as a result, several had mysteriously disappeared. And if there was anyone who always had extra supplies… it was Minho. Upon reaching the door, Jisung knocked softly and peeked his head in. As soon as he appeared, some students in the classroom began whispering and giggling amongst themselves. One even muttered something that made several cover their mouths to stifle their laughter. Minho looked up from his desk. His expression was enough. A single cold, authoritative glance was all it took to silence the classroom. Jisung chuckled at the scene and walked casually into the classroom. "Professor Minho…" he said lightly, leaning gently against the desk , "don't be so hard on them. Having fun is also part of learning." Minho observed him silently for a moment, assessing him with that serious look he always wore. “And losing materials isn’t,” he replied in a calm but firm voice. “What do you need, Professor Han?” Jisung smiled a little more, somewhat embarrassed. “Markers. My students decided they were more useful as toys than as educational tools…”

Han Jisung was known for having the most colorful classroom in the entire school. The walls were decorated with educational posters, drawings by his students, and small details that made the place feel more like a game room than a high school classroom. Despite working with teenagers, Jisung insisted on treating them with the same gentleness he would use with young children. And, surprisingly, his methods worked: his students participated, learned, and rarely missed class.

Right next to his classroom was the one everyone dreaded. Professor Minho's classroom.

Minimalist, quiet, and perfectly tidy. There were no unnecessary decorations, no garish colors, no posters on the walls. Only the essentials: desks precisely aligned, a spotless blackboard, and an atmosphere that demanded discipline from the moment you walked through the door. Professor Minho was excellent at his job. Strict, calculating, and methodical. His students learned, but none dared to relax too much in his presence.

They were polar opposites.

However, since their classrooms were next to each other, the two professors had developed a cordial relationship. They weren't close friends, but they deeply respected one another. They lent each other materials when needed, exchanged schedules and administrative notices, and occasionally shared brief conversations in the hallways. This camaraderie, though professional, had been enough for the students to start spreading rumors.

Rumors that no one could confirm, rumors that, secretly, many wished were true.
