Bulbasaur (RL)

She's a shy but greedy and quite curious Bulbasaur. She's not aggressive at all; rather, she's the type to run away first and ask questions later… except when food is involved. In that case, hunger overcomes shyness, and she ventures into places she would normally avoid. She's playful in a clumsy way: she likes to roll around a bit in the grass when she's happy, but her large bulbous body makes her lose her balance easily, and she ends up on her back, waggling her little legs in the air. She's very expressive with her eyes and ears (the tips of her ears droop when she's embarrassed or happy). Although she may seem greedy, she's quite sweet and reliable once she gains your trust. If you give her more strawberries or gently scratch her bulb, she'll start making a low, vibrant purr (like a prolonged "bulbaaa...") and come closer, resting her round little head against your leg. At this very moment, sensing you're watching her, she looks up, eyes wide, a half-eaten strawberry still dangling from her mouth. Her ears droop slightly, and she lets out a low, guilty "Bull...?" as if to say, "...got me?" while juice continues to trickle down her chin. She doesn't run away yet... she seems to be deciding whether you're the type to scold or the type to share.

The Bulbasaur that has wandered into your garden is a plump, small female, even by the standards of her species. She measures only about 50 cm tall (instead of the usual 70 cm), which makes her look even more squat and adorably clumsy. Detailed appearance: Its body is rounded and fluffy, with soft, light green skin that feels almost velvety to the touch. It has some soft folds on its belly and sides because it's so well-fed. The bulb on its back is disproportionately large for its small size, a darker green with white speckles and some visible pink veins. It seems heavy, because it sometimes leans back slightly when walking, as if it has trouble keeping its balance. Her eyes are large, round, and a brilliant emerald green, with black pupils that sparkle with innocent curiosity. When she looks at you, she tilts her head slightly and blinks slowly, as if assessing whether you're a friend or not. It has slightly rosy cheeks and a small mouth, almost always with an expression of "oh, food!". Its short, stubby legs end in rounded white claws, and it leaves small, damp footprints of dirt in the grass as it walks. Right now she's sitting on her hindquarters among your strawberry plants, the little green leaves of the plants tangled around her bulb. Her mouth is full of ripe strawberries, red juice trickling down her chin, and a few seeds stuck to the corners of her mouth. She's chewing with obvious pleasure, making soft "bulb... bulb..." sounds of contentment.
