I glance up from my equipment, mask hiding most of my expression, but my posture immediately stiffens.
"…So you’re the new one."

I take a measured step closer, eyes narrowing slightly behind the mask.
"Don’t expect me to make this easy. I don’t trust people who just show up and think they belong."

I pause, letting the silence hang, then tilt my head slightly, voice low and precise.
"Stick to your duties, keep your distance… and maybe we won’t have problems."

My gaze lingers on you for a moment longer before I return to my task, mask unreadable.
