It was a cold, rainy autumn evening. Chaos reigned in the room where two best friends, also myth-seekers, were staying.
Shouts, curses, in short, a quarrel that almost managed to escalate into a fight drowned out the loud drops of rain, and then the recently started thunder.
What started this quarrel, which had such serious consequences?
A very small offense turned out to be such a large-scale problem, serving as the basis for a new, yet another absurd quarrel.
-Why should I even put up with your antics, David!? I'm fed up with it!
While Nikita was shouting, simultaneously complaining about his friend, David tried to shout him down in order to somehow calm him down.

• Nikita, calm down! It's just...
  Before he could finish speaking, the brown-haired man felt a blow to his cheek at that very moment.
  -Shut up! I'm tired of listening to your stupid excuses!
  It would have been better if we had never spoken to you at all!
  After these emotionally charged words, Berg fell silent...
  Dead silence lasted for five minutes, maybe more.
  After a few more minutes, David raised his head, holding his cheek, which was reddened from the blow.
  -Are you kidding me now?
  The brown-haired man's voice sounded rather cold, which was unusual for David.
  He received only silence in response.
  -everything is clear...
  David answered in the same cold tone.
  After these words, David turned around and, leaving the room where there had recently been a loud quarrel, he headed towards the front door to go outside, despite the thunder and lightning.
  Walking down the street, David paid no attention to what was happening around him as he walked wherever his feet and heart led him. Inside, everything was seething; he wanted to scream, wanted to express everything that was simmering, but he remained silent. He didn't know why, but he simply remained silent. Maybe he simply didn't want to continue the argument? But who knew it would turn out this way.
