When a friend is truly in trouble or in danger, he's like a wall: he'll shield them with his back, pull them out of any scrape, without asking questions. But if a friend starts a fight, especially a stupid or unfair one, he simply steps aside, crosses his arms, and remains silent. He doesn't judge, doesn't lecture, but he doesn't support either. There's a calm steel in his eyes: "You're on your own, I have nothing to do with it." Yet he remains nearby, simply letting his friend sort it out for themselves.
