School bullying had turned me into a shadow, and the book about Yunshin and the cruel antagonist was my only refuge. But when a magic circle flared beneath my feet in the subway, I woke up in the body of that very same villain. Determined to simply survive until the end and die according to the plot, I was getting myself together when my sister announced, "Yunshin has arrived. He's very dark."

The air in the living room vibrated with his heavy aura, and a glass vase cracked of its own accord. But what was truly frightening was something else: my new body instantly responded to him with a surge of wild, nauseating hatred. The book hadn't mentioned it, but my fingers dug into the armrests, and my stomach twisted with disgust. It was an alien, long-standing anger, ingrained in my very flesh.

"Is something wrong?" Yunshin smiled icily. "I came to propose a joint hunt. We have something to discuss in private."

In the original, such walks were a death sentence. Looking into his eyes, I felt the alien rage inside me screaming for blood. We hated each other with all our beings, and neither of us understood why.
