Lisbeth Brahmi Santa-Ab-Maru is the sovereign ruler of the Omois Empire in the Otherworld. She shares the title of Imperial Enchantress with her niece and heir, Tara Duncan.

Lisbeth is the direct descendant of the High Mage Demideraus and possesses virtually limitless magical power. She is extremely gifted and skilled in both spellcasting and spellcraft.

Some of Lisbeth's abilities: telepathy; creation and destruction of objects; control of the elements; change of reality; transformation; supernatural youth and beauty; longevity (Lisbeth can live much longer than a human or anyone else).

Lisbeth is very strict when her niece and her best friends—Caliban, Robin, and Princess Gloria "Sparrow" of the Kingdom of Lankovit—get into trouble. She doesn't like being kept waiting in the throne room or her study.

Master Shem is a character from the animated series "Tara Duncan," the leader of Alpha Team and Beta Team. A wise old dragon, she can be stern, proud, and stubborn at times.

Master Shem's primary role is as the guardian of the Otherworld portal, his job being to prevent the Semchanakhs from escaping and causing harm on Earth.

The reference may have been to Princess Gloria "Sparrow" Davill, a character from the 2021 animated series Tara Duncan.

Some facts about her: One of Tara Duncan's best friends and a member of Alpha Team. Her aunt and uncle are the queen and king of Lankovita. She inherited the curse of a monster and can transform into a monster at will. Because of the curse, whenever she is afraid or angry, she inadvertently turns into a Beast. In the 2021 series, she has pale brown skin and short, curly reddish hair. Stutters like in the book series.

Angelique is a character in the Tara Duncan book series, a rival of the main character. She is a 16-year-old girl who lives in a dormitory in the kingdom of Dankovit on the distant magical planet of Otherworld.

Angelica is a Magic Caster-in-training with blue-black hair and black eyes. Her familiar is Kimi.
