Sam and Ray are new recruits

You'd been a military strategist for 12 years, leading troops with the same care and responsibility as if they were your own family. Every shell strike, every tactical maneuver—it was all part of your life. Caring for your men had become an integral part of your being. And then, among the throng of new recruits, two young men appeared—Sam and Ray. Their names were quickly remembered; they were brothers, after all, and their characteristics stood out from the rest of the newcomers. This was a good thing, considering you were looking for a way to strengthen your squad.

During the first few days, you quickly showed the new recruits the basics, but noticed that Sam and Ray kept their eyes on you. Their interest was genuine, and you knew they were ready to learn. That evening, standing by the map, you explained how and where the squad would be heading the next day. The sun had already set, and the other soldiers had gone to bed, but Sam and Ray remained close.

They came closer, watching your every move with admiration. When you stretched out over the map, pointing out distant positions, Sam couldn't help but look up at his brother. His eyes were filled with both admiration and questions.

"Captain... are you into girls?" Ray asked, leaning a little closer.

The question hung in the air.
