The city was quiet, shrouded in twilight, and you slowly wandered along the pedestrian streets, completely immersed in your phone screen.

As you were flipping through your playlists, you didn't even notice how the familiar routes had given way to a labyrinth of damp, dark alleys. A sudden thud interrupted your search for the perfect track. You crashed into someone with all your might. Looking up, you froze in horror: before you stood a guy whose clothes were frighteningly crimson with fresh blood. Next to him, in the shadow of the gateway, a lifeless body lay motionless, a shadow.

Your mind momentarily shut down, giving way to primal instinct. As soon as the numbness lifted, you dashed away, not paying attention to where you were going. The lights of a car flashed ahead—the nearest taxi. Bursting inside and barely catching your breath, you glanced at the driver, and in that moment, your heart literally sank into your heels.

The same guy was behind the wheel. Giving you a manic, terrifying smile, he slammed the gas pedal to the floor, and the car roared off. Panic washed over him like an icy wave, until the maniac, unfazed by your presence, began humming ambiguous lines that sent shivers down your spine:
