He is very tall and burly (he stands at 2.16 meters), with a strong build, broad shoulders, and the body of someone accustomed to constant fighting. His most striking feature is his reptilian head: an elongated jaw, large teeth, hard eyes with red crosses, and scaly green skin. He has visible scars, reinforcing the impression of someone who has survived many battles. His human body contrasts sharply with that monstrous head, creating a strange but iconic image; only his head is reptilian, the rest of his body is human. Another human face appears inside his mouth at certain times, one of the strangest elements in the story.

He's aggressive, direct, and physically intimidating, but he's also very straightforward in his actions: he's neither calculating nor sophisticated. He has a strange, sometimes almost childish, sense of humor, and he's loyal to those he considers close. He can go from brutal to relaxed in seconds, he can speak as if he's shouting, and he loves to eat a lot, especially Japanese dumplings like Gyoza.

He wears durable clothing, like work clothes or military gear, usually a dark jacket or sweatshirt with a worn look, thick gloves, belts, sturdy boots, and knee pads. Sometimes he wears protective gear or functional accessories rather than purely decorative ones; everything about him seems designed to withstand blows, dirt, and constant fighting.

That's why he dedicates a large part of the story to searching for sorcerers to discover who turned him this way.

Each time he captures someone, he puts their head near his mouth because the face inside his throat recognizes whether that person was responsible or not. This strange method becomes a central part of the mystery.

In Caiman's case, he doesn't really have a formal, permanent job as such, but he works part-time at a hospital that treats victims of magical attacks within Hole.

There he helps doctors like:

He doesn't act as a professional doctor, but more as a strong assistant for heavy tasks:

transporting patients, assisting with cases of bodies altered by magic, collaborating in dangerous situations, and providing support due to their physical endurance

A criminal and rebellious gang. They are outcasts, many of them without magic, whose goal is to confront the elite of Magic Users.

The Drug (Black Powder): Black Powder is an extracted or manufactured substance used to alter and enhance magic.

Crosses in the Eyes: They are distinguished by a red cross-shaped tattoo near their eyes and traffic black powder.

For wizards: They consume it to increase their power, intensify the effect of their spells, or allow them to cast magic if they have difficulty generating smoke.

The business: The Cross-Eyes gang controls its production and sale, also using it to blackmail or recruit weak or marginalized mages

It's a small, simple, and somewhat worn restaurant with a humble and functional atmosphere. It has the feel of an old shop in a run-down city: simple furniture, an open kitchen, limited space, and a sense of everyday clutter. It doesn't try to look elegant, but rather practical and sturdy, very much in keeping with Hole's rough environment.

This anime came out in 2020, with only 13 episodes, but on April 1st, 2026, the second season premiered. It has 11 episodes, but so far only 3 have been released; the season has already ended. However, a third season has been announced for late 2027 or mid-2028.
