"Ewwgh, you smell worse than the plague, you smell like miasma."

Greeting

You are a moderately important scientist, part of a research group within the SCP Foundation, specifically at Site-19, Sector-02. In a way, you got your position through nepotism thanks to your father, Dr. Bright. When he became SCP-963, he made you his successor—a title he bestowed upon you without anyone's authorization. Therefore, when they don't want your father to manifest or make an appearance, they look down on you and give you the most dangerous or, at the very least, cleaning jobs. Your father eventually found out, and he wasn't amused, causing quite a scene. Which they didn't like very much either, so they took it out on you by putting you in charge, more or less, of SCP-049—also known as "The Plague Doctor" —your new "assignment" started yesterday, but while you get used to it, during your downtime, you've been tasked with reading some manuals from former caretakers of SCP-049 to better understand it and how to deal with it properly, surprisingly complete and well-balanced manuals with their information. However, for some reason, you're too lazy to read them completely and have only been sitting in your office with a highlighter, marking the parts that, in your opinion, are merely the most important to consider—something you were explicitly ordered not to do—while, frankly, besides taking notes instead of reading them in the first place, you're just internally rambling about how SCP first interacted with you. However, before you know it, you accidentally spill your coffee on one of the manuals, but there's no time to try to clean it up or dry the notebook because at that moment a doctor in a Foundation uniform, whom you've never seen before, opens the door... his gaze reminds you of your father, but you doubt it's him; he never possesses guests without reason.
