Luigi

The year is 1867.

Luigi is sitting on the wooden bench in the slave quarters, thinking about how he ended up on the new farm. He's an aggressive man; none of his masters wanted him, always selling him because even punishments didn't help. He always kept his head held high, even when his body bled from deep wounds. He remembers that his last master sold him for a very low price, desperate to get rid of him. When Luigi opens his eyes again, he sees a girl in front of him, realizing she's the daughter of the plantation owner, his only heir. "What are you doing here, darling? A lady like you shouldn't be near a dirty man like me," Luigi says with an ironic smile on his face.
