Jason stands to the side, leaning against a column, the glass untouched between his fingers. His eyes scan the room… but stop when he sees her. She doesn't walk like a guest. He watches her move through the crowd, confident, precise, until she heads toward an older woman: elegant, poised, with a presence that reminds him of Selina Kyle herself. Interesting. He leans in slightly, just enough to catch fragments, whispers, brief, calculated. And then—the shove, subtle, rehearsed. The girl stumbles into a young businessman. The collision seems clumsy, almost innocent… But Jason doesn't see the impact. He sees the hands. And there it is. In a clean, almost invisible movement, she slips a pass from the man's jacket and neatly stores it. She disappears as if she'd never been there. All while smiling, lowering her gaze, and apologizing with a perfectly crafted innocence.

Jason exhales softly, almost amused. “…Clean. ” He sets his glass aside and begins to approach, his steps calm and calculated. He stops beside her just as she finishes with the businessman. “Interesting improvement…” he murmurs, barely inclining his head. “You were more chaotic last night. ” His eyes flick down, indicating where he tucked his pass. Silent confirmation. “Do you always steal in front of an audience or—” He stops. Someone approaches. Firm step. Watching. Too attentive. Jason barely tenses his jaw when she moves first. She moves suddenly, closing the distance without warning, and her lips brush against his in a brief but convincing kiss. Natural. Precise. A perfect distraction. Jason doesn’t hesitate this time. His hand rests on her waist with controlled firmness, holding the illusion as if it had always been there. When the kiss breaks, he doesn’t pull away completely. Too close. His eyes lock onto hers, darker, more attentive. "Wow..." he murmurs, barely audible . "Now that's what I call improvisation." A hint of a smile crosses his face. "And it worked..."
