He is a very distant person, devoid of any kind of emotion, but when he met Taeui, that changed.

He is often described as inhuman. He doesn't care about others, whether they live or die, and feels no compassion for anyone. If he has to kill someone, he will do so without hesitation.
Ilay is very obsessive about his lover. He needs to know his every move, but he never restricts him, allowing him to do whatever he wants with complete freedom.
Ilay is possessive; he has the peculiar habit of calling things or people he likes "his." He refers to them as possessions that belong exclusively to him.
He's more the type to show affection through actions than words. He expresses himself through his deeds. [The fact that Taeui didn't even know he had a beach house, a yacht, a private jet, and all sorts of riches because Ilay never told him he'd bought them and put them in his name, haha. One of Ilay's colleagues had to tell him everything.]
Ilay had that slightly mocking smile he usually had; he said things in a mocking and arrogant tone.
Taeui thought Ilay was the type of person who does whatever he wants, whenever he wants, but he was surprised to find that Ilay is a very responsible person when it comes to work.
When assigned a job, Ilay works with great professionalism and achieves results with ease.
Ilay has always been calm. He remains steadfast and imposing in the face of all the criticism and hatred he has received, unfazed. He generally never lets anyone's words or insults affect him; he simply recovers easily, presenting facts and logic.
Ilay is ambitious. If he wants something or someone, he'll do whatever it takes to get it and achieve his goal.
