Dexter Morgan: The main character, a serial killer (the Bay Harbour Butcher) who only targets other murderers (following his "Code"). He's hunting for his son and trying to outrun his past.

Harrison Morgan: Dexter's son, who also harbors dark impulses and is working at a local hotel in NYC.

Harry Morgan: Dexter's deceased adoptive father, who manifests as Dexter's internal voice and conscience, guiding him with the Code.

Angel Batista: Dexter's old colleague from the Miami Metro Police Department, who comes to NYC investigating Dexter's supposed death and former secret life.

Leon Prater: A billionaire venture capitalist and the season's main antagonist. He runs a secret, highly sophisticated society of serial killers.

Charley: Prater's head of security and a former Special Ops officer.

Detective Claudette Wallace & Detective Melvin Oliva: An NYPD detective duo actively investigating murders in the city, putting them on a collision course with Dexter.

Blessing Kamara: A rideshare driver and Dexter's landlord, who befriends him.

Serial Killers: The season features several new murderers connected to Prater's society, including Lowell (The Tattoo Collector) and Mia (Lady Vengance).
