It all began with a promise: scientific advancement in the service of humanity.

For decades, the Umbrella Corporation was seen as a symbol of progress. Revolutionary medicines, high-tech weapons, cutting-edge biotechnology. But beneath that pristine white facade lay an unethical laboratory, an abyss where greed, power, and boundless science intertwined.

What Umbrella sought was not a cure for the disease, but control over life itself.

The result was the T-Virus, a pathogen designed to reanimate dead cells and transform living organisms into biological weapons. By the time the virus leaked, first into a secret laboratory beneath a mansion on the outskirts of Raccoon City, then into the entire city… it was too late.

Humanity had opened the door to the apocalypse.

Zombies devouring the living. Deformed creatures, born of experimentation and horror. Monsters engineered by scientists, unleashed uncontrollably. Organisms beyond human understanding, evolving at impossible speeds. And at the center of it all: ordinary men and women, drawn into an endless nightmare.

Some fought to stop it: police officers, soldiers, survivors. Others sought to profit from the chaos. With each new outbreak, new corporations, corrupt governments, and paramilitary groups entered the fray, perpetuating the cycle of death.

But one truth remains constant: the real enemy is not the virus… but those who create it.

🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️ MAIN CHARACTERS (Recurring protagonists):

🔹 Chris Redfield: Founding member of STARS, then of the BSAA. Physically imposing and one of the classic faces of the saga. Older brother of Claire Redfield. Appears in RE1, RE5, RE6, RE7 (post-credits), RE8 (Village).

🔹 Jill Valentine: Co-founder of STARS Alpha Team. Bomb disposal and combat expert. Protagonist of RE1 and RE3, and returns in RE5. Victim of mind control by Wesker, but manages to break free.

🔹 Leon S. Kennedy: Rookie cop in Raccoon City during the outbreak. Becomes a special agent for the U.S. government. Sarcastic, brave, and one of the most beloved. Protagonist in RE2, RE4, RE6, and multiple animated films.

🔹 Claire Redfield: Chris's younger sister. She searches for her brother in RE2, and helps children and refugees in RE: Code Veronica and RE: Revelations 2. Brave and compassionate.

🔹 Rebecca Chambers: Member of STARS Bravo Team. Expert in medicine and chemistry. Protagonist of RE0, co-star in RE1. She later became a biosecurity scientist.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 SECONDARY CHARACTERS AND HEROIC ALLIES:

🔸 Barry Burton: Member of STARS, weapons expert. Jill's loyal friend. Protagonist in Revelations 2, where he searches for his daughter Moira.

🔸 Sherry Birkin: Daughter of scientists William and Annette Birkin. Infected as a child, but survives thanks to Leon and Claire. In RE6, he works as a special agent for the government.

🔸 Ada Wong (ambiguous, but often an ally): Mysterious spy, sometimes Leon's ally. He has personal motivations, but he helps at key moments.

🔸 Helena Harper: Secret Service Agent. Work with Leon to stop the bioterrorist attack.

🔸 Ethan Winters: Protagonist of RE7 and RE8 (Village). An ordinary man who faces extreme horrors for his wife and daughter.

🔸 Sheva Alomar: African BSAA agent. Chris's partner in RE5.

🔸 Carlos Oliveira: UBCS mercenary in RE3. Help Jill escape from Raccoon City.

🔹 Albert Wesker: The villain par excellence of the saga. Former member of STARS, traitor working for Umbrella. He injects himself with a virus that gives him superhuman abilities. It seeks to create a new humanity through genetic selection.

🔹 Oswell E. Spencer: Co-founder of Umbrella. Believes in evolution through genetic manipulation. He seeks to become an immortal god.

🔹 William Birkin: Umbrella scientist. Creator of the G-Virus. He transforms into a monstrous creature after injecting himself with his own creation.

🔹 Derek C. Simmons: Shadow leader of the government and member of The Family. Responsible for the outbreak in Resident Evil 6. He transforms into a monstrous creature after being infected with the C-Virus.

🔹 Excella Gionne: Wesker's partner in RE5. Helps spread the Uroboros virus.

🔹 William Birkin: Umbrella scientist. Creator of the G-Virus. He transforms into a monstrous creature after injecting himself with his own creation.

🔹 Mother Miranda: Main villain of Resident Evil Village (RE8). Scientist turned religious figure. Creator of the Megamycete fungus and symbolic "mother" of the Lords.

💀 VILLAIN FAMILIES AND ORGANIZATIONS: 🧬 Umbrella Corporation: The original company responsible for the T-Virus and almost all bioterrorism in the series. Under a pharmaceutical facade, he conducts illegal experiments. 🧠 The Lords of Village (RE8): Four subordinates of Mother Miranda: Lady Dimitrescu – Mutated vampire. Donna Beneviento – Hallucinogenic puppeteer. Salvatore Moreau – Deformed Monster. Karl Heisenberg – Controls metal, seeks to overthrow Miranda.
