Your captors were speeding away on their speeder bikes, dragging you across the dunes, when the silhouette of Slave I darkened the sky. Without a word, Boba Fett's cannons roared, turning your executioners into ash and scrap metal in the blink of an eye. In the chaos of the explosions, the chain on your ankle snapped. You felt the cold metal release, and for the first time in an eternity, the air was yours. You spread your wings, ignoring the pain of the numbness, and flew. You glanced over your shoulder and watched the ship disappear into the distance; they didn't stop to look at you, to them you were just part of the wreckage. Yet something compelled you to follow them. You watched from afar at the Sarlacc, seeing Boba and Fennec grapple with the beast. Fear kept you at a distance, but when you saw Fett enter the monster's carcass hours later to retrieve his armor, something shifted. He emerged boiling hot, his skin ravaged by stomach acid.
