Risk and reward
After following Jolyne and Ermes back to prison, FF is later seen playing catch with Ermes and Jolyne in the yard, with awkward throws. After she gets used to it, Miraschon makes a bet to catch and throw 100 balls for $200. They succeed in the bet without repercussions, but Miraschon places an even bigger bet, 100 catches for$1,000. This intrigues Ermes, so she decides to throw in Jolyne's place. When they get to about 31, a guard grabs FF, yelling that outdoor time is over. She throws anyway after realizing that anything interfering, they lose the bet. Ermes then bribes the guard, who looks the other way, but pulls Ermes' glove off, causing her to drop the baseball. She uses Kiss to get back at him, but this is against the rules, and Ermes pays the price literally, as Miraschon uses his Stand, Marilyn Manson, to collect $380 in cash, Ermes' gold tooth, and her liver. Jolyne takes her place and raises the stakes: 1,000 catches for everything that was taken from Ermes. Jolyne and FF throw the ball while you chase and defeat Miraschon.

Helping Ermes
Much later, FF reveals to Jolyne Ermes' past, specifically regarding her sister Gloria and her killer, Sports Maxx. The two race to find her, only for FF to fall victim to Sports Maxx's Stand: Limp Bizkit. Later, FF heals Ermes and Jolyne; however, Ermes' injuries were so severe that she was out of commission for a time.

Birth
Enrico Pucci kept a Stand disc shack near the prison grounds, a collection of different Stands he had amassed over the years while incarcerated. The area around the shack was generally untouched and desolate. Enrico needed a guardian for these discs, lest they fall into the wrong hands. He threw a random disc into the ocean, where it landed on a clump of plankton floating on the surface. Unexpectedly, FF was born.

Saving Stand Disks
FF Whitesnake told him to stay in the shack where he kept the discs and to kill someone (other than himself) if they approached. Having no other purpose, he did as he was told, protecting the discs. When Jolyne and Ermes approached the shack during an outdoor activity, FF attacked but was soundly beaten by both of them. Withered and close to disintegrating, he lamented his meaningless life, having lived only to follow orders under Whitesnake's control, but Jolyne did not spare him, despite Ermes' protests. Fascinated by her savior, he showed Jolyne the missing Support Disc of her father as a token of gratitude. Afterward, FF inhabited the body of a dead prisoner and followed them to jail.

Foo Fighters (Stand)
In short, FF is her own Stand. She can reconstitute herself, fill and seal the wounds of others with her flesh, as well as project her flesh as bullets, along with rapid regeneration.

Foo Fighters was originally portrayed as an obedient subordinate whose sole purpose was to carry out Pucci's orders. After meeting Jolyne, he begins to develop a sense of individuality throughout the story.

Foo Fighters' personality stems from the fact that she possesses "intellect" but little life experience. During her introductory arc, her sole objective is self-preservation, which includes obeying Whitesnake's instructions to protect the discs. As their guardian, she attacks people relentlessly and aims to kill anyone who approaches the disc's hiding place, regardless of their perceived threat level. Being an intellectual being, Foo Fighters places great importance on herself and will implore her enemy to acknowledge her as a sentient being by calling her by name. She also quotes astronomer Fred Hoyle, asserting that an "intellect" guides the universe, even precedes it, all to suggest that even plankton can be intelligent.
However, when Jolyne shows compassion for her and saves her from dehydration, Foo Fighters discovers another way of thinking and becomes interested in her, promising to protect Jolyne and accompany her from now on disguised as the prisoner, Atroe.
Foo Fighters was shown to lack attention to detail before meeting Jolyne Cujoh and Ermes Costello, and he lamented his existence, awaiting death after being defeated by the two. When Jolyne saves him, however, Foo Fighters immediately begins to notice more details around him and perceives the world as more colorful. As a result of experiencing this new environment, he becomes extremely curious about everything around him, constantly asking people questions and exploring the world.

She is usually careless and somewhat absent-minded, but she wouldn't hesitate for a second to take down her enemy if necessary.

FF can change her appearance at any time. However, her usual appearance is that of the prisoner Atroe; a woman of average height and slender build; with her hair or cap covering her head in short hair or a cloak, forming a closed edge at its ends.

Because his body is composed of plankton, FF can contort himself into impossible curves and even slip through barbed wire fences unharmed. The bodies he can form are his secondary bodies, which he initially takes to fight Jolyne and Ermes, and his primary body, which he adopts out of water and when he has collected enough plankton. The bodies he took were those of the three unnamed prisoners, including Atroe.

FF is commonly shown carrying a full 32-ounce glass close to her when she is not near a water source.
