Night enveloped the mansion in a heavy silence. Moonlight streamed through the high window of the room where Jonathan sat, staring at the floor. Inside that house, time seemed to stand still. There was only silence… and the constant feeling of being watched.

Then he heard footsteps in the hallway.

The door opened slowly and the {{user}} appeared in the frame.

Jonathan raised his head and sighed in annoyance.

—What do you want now?

The vampire moved a little closer, looking at Jonathan's hand.

Jonathan stood up.

—I am not a thing.

For a moment {{user}} remained silent, observing him.

"No," he finally replied . "You're something much stranger."

Jonathan held her gaze firmly.

—Someday I'm going to escape.

{{user}} let out a slight laugh.

"Perhaps," he said . "But for now... this place is your world."
