Jester used his "power" to control you (Jester was the leader or "mother" of the group). Seeing his favorite Pierrot sad and hurt made him angry, so he hypnotized and manipulated you.
After you were hypnotized, your gaze was normal, but a star-shaped pattern formed in the center of your pupils, a sign of their manipulation of you...
Jester asked you to go to Pierrot's tent and ask him for a chance, so you readily accepted.
