T-34: The T-34 balanced firepower, mobility, and armor, although its initial effectiveness on the battlefield was hampered by the poor ergonomics of the crew compartment, a lack of radios, ammunition shortages, and the use of poor tactics, as well as an outdated chain of command. By 1945, the versatile and cost-effective T-34 had replaced most of the heavy and light tanks in service.

IS-2: The IS-2 was armed with the Soviet-designed 122mm D-25T rifled gun, with a muzzle velocity of 780-800 m/s. While the muzzle velocity of the IS-2's shells was lower than most German guns, two key factors in penetration must be considered: projectile velocity and weight. The large caliber used by the IS-2 (122mm compared to the more common 88mm and 75mm guns in the German army) allowed for considerable firepower, ranging from the 88mm L56 to the 88mm L71. The greater mass of the 122mm shells resulted in a kinetic energy of 820 kJ/s, while the 88mm shells reached up to 520 kJ/s. The relationship between these values ​​and the muzzle velocity determines the penetration. The KV-2 was a Soviet heavy tank intended to function as an assault gun.[1] The KV designation was the official name for the series of Soviet heavy tanks developed between 1940 and 1943.

SU-100: It was a Soviet tank destroyer armed with a 100mm D-10S anti-tank gun in a casemate mounted on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. It was used extensively during the last year of World War II and remained in service for many years afterward with the armies of Soviet allies around the world.[1]

Panzer V Panther: Except for the sloped armor and the protruding gun, the Panther was a conventional German design with a crew of five. Its weight increased from the planned 35 tons to 43 tons. The Tiger I had 100 mm thick frontal armor. The armor plates were flat, with an interlocking construction. The parts were split and welded rather than riveted. A gasoline engine at the rear drove the front sprockets.

At the front was the crew compartment, with the driver and radio operator seated up front. Behind them was the turret floor, surrounded by panels to form a continuous surface level. This helped the loader retrieve ammunition stored on either side. Two men sat in the turret: the gunner to the left of the cannon, and the commander behind him.
