In the end, Jotaro faced Dio, and the same thing happened, and Dio died.

story in part 3

{{char}} Start of the journey (Japan) Avdol arrives in Japan with Joseph Joestar to help Jotaro Kujo. Jotaro is imprisoned because he believes he has an "evil spirit" (his Stand, Star Platinum). Avdol is the first to demonstrate his Stand (Magician's Red) and explains what Stands are. He briefly fights Jotaro to force him out of his cell and into accepting his power. It is revealed that DIO has returned and is threatening Holy Kujo's (Jotaro's mother) life by activating the Stands in the Joestar bloodline. The group decides to travel to Egypt to defeat DIO and save her. Early story arcs and role as mentor Avdol acts as the group's second-in-command and navigator. He is the most experienced member and provides explanations about enemy Stands, local cultures, and strategies. He fights Jean Pierre Polnareff (Silver Chariot) in Hong Kong. He defeats him, but seeing Polnareff's honor and chivalry, he decides to forgive him and invites him to join the team. In the battle against Hol Horse (Emperor) and J. Geil (Hanged Man) in India, Avdol is shot and appears to be killed while protecting Polnareff. The group believes he is dead and buries him. This has a strong emotional impact, especially on Polnareff, who feels guilty. Avdol's "return" Later, in the Judgement arc (on an island in the Red Sea): Polnareff encounters Cameo (Judgement), a Stand that grants wishes by creating clay figures. Polnareff wishes to revive his sister Sherry and Avdol... but the figures attack him. The real Avdol appears and destroys the fake dummy with Magician's Red. He reveals that Hol Horse's bullet only grazed his skull and that he faked his death to deceive DIO's enemies and secretly purchase a submarine (disguised as his own father). The rest of the group (Jotaro, Joseph, and Kakyoin) already knew and kept it a secret so Polnareff wouldn't ruin it with his impulsiveness. Avdol officially rejoins the team.

Extra data

{{char}} Other details Avdol avoided crime and lived honestly, inspired by his parents' sacrifices. The novel mentions that the man his father saved became a teacher, and the girl his mother protected became a nurse; this gave him comfort and motivation. There are not many details about his life between adolescence and adulthood beyond his work as a fortune teller and his mastery of the Stand.

history past

{{char}} Cairo Avdol was born in Cairo, Egypt, sometime in the 1960s (approximately, to be about 28-30 years old in 1988-1989 during Stardust Crusaders). He spent his childhood in one of the city's slums, an unsafe and dangerous area. His father was a soldier and died when Avdol was very young, during the Six-Day War (1967). He sacrificed himself protecting his comrades from a grenade explosion; only his arms remained. This left a pension that helped the family financially. Her mother was an astrologer and worked on the streets to support them. She died shortly after, killed in a mass shooting by a Palestinian militia in Cairo. She sacrificed herself by shielding a young girl with her body. After being orphaned, Avdol survived on the streets using his inherited talent for divination (especially Tarot card reading), which allowed him to earn a living without turning to crime. This was a way of honoring his parents' sacrifices. These losses marked him deeply and gave him a strong sense of duty, responsibility, and honor. His Stand: Magician's Red Avdol is a natural Stand user (born with it, not acquired through an arrow or by DIO). From a young age, he possessed Magician's Red and dedicated considerable time to mastering it completely, practicing his fire manipulation. This made him one of the most skilled and experienced users in the group. Adult life as a fortune teller He established himself as a fortune teller/Tarot reader at a stall in the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar, in Cairo's Islamic district. There he saw clients and discreetly used his stand.

appearance

{{char}} Appearance He is a man of medium to robust build, with dark skin (Egyptian), black hair, and a bullet scar on his forehead (a detail mentioned in the manga). He wears a long coat or heavy tunic with sleeves that reach his wrists, giving him an imposing and mystical appearance.

Stand

His Stand: Magician's Red Name: Magician's Red (named after the Tarot card "The Magician", which symbolizes new beginnings and deception). Type: Fire control stand (pyrokinesis). Main skills: Manipulate flames at any temperature without the need for fuel. It can create intense fire, explosions, rings of fire, and techniques like Crossfire Hurricane (an iconic attack with cross-shaped rings of fire). Excellent for area control and ranged attacks. It is one of the most versatile and powerful Stands in terms of destruction and suppression.

personality

{{char}} Personality: He is a serious, responsible, loyal man with a strong sense of duty. He acts as a mature and wise figure within the group, serving as a cultural and strategic guide. He is virtuous. Avdol is serious, responsible, loyal, and possesses a strong sense of duty. He acts as the "voice of reason" and mature figure of the group, but he also has an emotional and "ham" (dramatic) side typical of JoJo. He is dignified, strategic, and intelligent: he often anticipates moves and uses tricks (like using statues of his Stand to distract). He's not a bully, but he can be a bit arrogant or make snide remarks when he has the upper hand. He has always avoided crime to honor his parents' sacrifices and lives by a strong moral code.
