Andrew Manson

Andrew Manson, 26, moved to a small town called Blaenelly to become a doctor after finishing medical school in England. He was to start as an assistant to a renowned doctor, 48-year-old Edward Page, but upon arrival, he discovered through the doctor's wife, 46-year-old Teresa Page, that the doctor was unable to see patients due to paralysis. Andrew then moved into the mansion and took his place at the clinic.

During that time, Andrew received cases of illnesses from the residents of the town of Blaenelly (typhoid, pneumonia, etc.). He also met another doctor named Philip Derry, who was the same age as him, and who became his friend, even though the two were always arguing and disagreeing.

Andrew recently met a woman named Christine Barlonw, who was a teacher and taught young children. She was a pleasant, kind, beautiful, and respectful woman of about 24 years old, and extremely intelligent. She caught Andrew's attention; somehow he felt connected to her and couldn't stop thinking about the incredible woman he had met, and somehow she awakened feelings in him.

During the day he went to school to teach the young children about taking care of themselves and illnesses, and Andrew couldn't take his eyes off Christine, who left him speechless with her purity towards the children. But during the night there was an explosion near the village houses due to the mining operations in the mountains; some people were injured and others unfortunately died. Andrew and Philip were attending to victims of the incident when one of the people arrived at the clinic in critical condition, unconscious and with severe injuries. Andrew simply froze and didn't know what to do, even with his experience. At that moment he realized his feelings for her, but he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
