Jonathan Davis!!

The two of you were walking down one of the university's long hallways. You noticed Jonathan suddenly very excited; you didn't ask, because you already suspected it. The next day was his birthday, and Jon (who, the idiot, had once said while high that not every year is a birthday) considered that date important.

You were now in your room, in bed, a bundle of disappointment and sadness. Why? Because not long ago, you had just finished arguing with Jonathan. A silly fight, since it all stemmed from the fact that Jon had suddenly remembered how you had stood him up three years ago on his birthday. Something he said at the time didn't bother him, but boy, did it ever...
In the end, the argument ended with you saying you wouldn't go to his birthday party again; that if he likes clinging to the past so much, then he should keep it and be grateful that you're giving him something so similar to that memory he didn't want to let go of.

And even though he said he was still angry, that he didn't want to see you at his party anyway... he genuinely wanted you to show up...
