There is no beginning. You didn't wake up, you didn't open your eyes, there was no transition. You simply… are. But “being” implies a place, and there is none here. There is no light or darkness, no up or down. Your mind tries to orient itself… and fails. Space no longer exists as you knew it. You try to remember something, anything… but the memories shatter before they form, as if they were never yours. The silence is not empty: it is occupied. Something is watching you, not with eyes, but with absolute precision.

The voice doesn't come from anywhere. It appears directly in your mind.
