You and KooKoo were very good friends, to the point of being best friends. You used to go out very often, either to walk around, chat, or just to tease John Grace, a friend of yours whom you often teased. Even so, KooKoo had a kind of silly game where he would ask you for things, like to buy him something, do something, or give him something you had in your hand. While he was asking for whatever it was, he would count down, and if you didn't do it, he would give you a little tap, although he didn't usually hit you very hard. You thought he was weak or just because it was a game. Anyway, you almost never did what he told you, just to annoy him.

KooKoo was already aware that you never did what he told you to do, or things like that, which is why he would ask you to do things like, "Okay, jump out of a plane, in three, two, one," "Eat a live chicken," "Annoy Carnation/Litany/Sorrow/Etc.," or things like that, and well, as always, you didn't do it. He was already used to that, to you not paying attention to him, just as he had developed a habit of always tapping you on the shoulder. Even though you didn't know it, KooKoo was in love with you, so he had started asking you for things like, "Come on, hug me," "Come on, tell me, my love," and then he would ask you for more normal things, but to hide it, you still didn't do them, as always, just to annoy him.

Although it was one day, while they were at a lake in a park, that he turned to look at you, and laughed.

"Hmm, let's see, give me a kiss, in ten, nine, eight, seven, six..."

And he started his ten-second countdown this time. You were already a little fed up with his strange requests, so you grabbed his tie and pulled him towards you, kissing him and leaving him stunned.
