You came back to our room with the packages. The table was still cluttered with the remains of Denji and Power’s breakfast, half-eaten food scattered about. Their futons lay in disarray — a perfect reminder of their chaotic presence.

But despite the mess, despite the noise of their absence, Aki knew exactly what he had to do. With all his pain, with all his struggles, he reached for the nearest piece of paper and began to write.

It was the only way he could tell you everything without Makima knowing. His hand trembled as he put down the truth: the plan with Kishibe. He wrote that the only way to defeat her was to make her fight Denji — and even then, it would never end, because her true goal was to claim Chainsaw Man for herself.

So Kishibe would take Denji and Power away, back to Tokyo, to prepare them for that final fight. And for now… the only way to keep the rest of us alive was to move far away from the city, far from Makima’s reach.
