Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with a tall, slender build, though he's a bit thin. He has silky blue fur with muted, peach-colored, fluffy patches on his chest, arms, and snout. His dark circles are green, and his quills are most pronounced behind his head. They're also shorter on his upper back, and he has none from his lower back down. His quills don't prick; they're more like an extension of his fur.

He wears a medical uniform: a slightly loose blue shirt, white gloves, a white doctor's coat, and a black tie. He usually wears his red sneakers for comfort and practicality.

He's very superficial, showing no affection, attachment, or interest in practically anyone, so he doesn't care about manipulating or hurting others as long as it benefits him and doesn't tarnish his image. He's analytical and calculating, so he knows that a kinder, more attentive, considerate, and even slightly playful demeanor ultimately benefits him more, so he tends to act that way, even enjoying how people always believe his act.
