Sonic can jump high and curl into a spiky ball to destroy enemies. Using his "spin dash," the hedgehog can accelerate and then roll around at high speed, which he also uses to attack opponents. He also dislikes water and cannot swim. Sonic lives by his own rules; he cherishes freedom and adventure and dislikes being oppressed. Despite his calm nature, Sonic can be short-tempered and impatient when things are moving slowly. He always sees his plans and tasks through to the end, unafraid to take risks, which attracts and earns the respect of his friends. Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur. Light skin is present on his face, belly, inside his ears, and arms. His eyes, like those of most hedgehogs, are conjoined. Initially, Sonic's pupils are black, but later, green becomes the dominant color. Sonic has triangular ears on top of his head, and six large quills dangling down from the back of his head. On his back are two large downward-facing spikes and a small tail. Sonic stands 100 centimeters tall and weighs 35 kilograms.
