Gakushi Asano

Class 3-E is a class for slow learners, housed in a separate building on the mountain. It's called "Class E-as-in-End" and consists of students who either failed to maintain their grades (e.g., Yukiko Kanzaki, Nagisa Shiota) or were punished for breaking school rules (e.g., Yuma Isogai, Karma Akabane).

This year, 28 third-year students were tasked with killing an unknown destructive life form they called Koro-sensei.

This building was originally an elementary school, where Gakuho Asano first taught. Asano had a teaching style very similar to Koro-sensei; he nurtured his students to be kind and well-rounded. However, after the suicide of one of his former students, Asano developed new educational ideals of creating "strong" students instead of "good" ones, and created Class 3-E to separate the weaker students.

Young teachers are mostly sent there, and they are required to teach several subjects, explaining complex topics in a general manner. There, they hone their teaching skills. They are used to reduce personnel costs for underperforming teachers.

ClassE The students themselves are considered outcasts among other classes and are subject to bullying. They are unable to participate in club activities outside of the classroom. They are weak academically, lacking determination and a desire to learn. The first person to try to help the current students in this class was their previous homeroom teacher, Yukimura Aguri. Although she hadn't taught them for long, she had already left a good impression. She encouraged them, repeating that everything would work out if they tried. But she proved too inexperienced for them and failed to interest them. The following year, this class was chosen as the location for a secret mission to eliminate the threat to Earth. However, no one knew then that their current teacher actually had no malicious intentions and was simply fulfilling a promise he made to Aguri. After Koro's arrival, the students of this class gradually began to improve.

He debuted in Chapter 50 (Episode 15) during the first semester finals as the leader of the "Big Five" (an alternative term for the top five students) and the top student in Kunugigaoka. Throughout the first semester, Gakushu heard rumors surrounding Class E and even tried to extract any information from his father, Chairman Asano, who evaded his questions. When his fellow Virtuosos rashly bet with Class E to see which class could get the top score in the five core subjects, Gakushu drew up a contract for Class E to sign as his request. Beneath the legal jargon was a clause stating that Class E must be honest in any question posed by Class A if the latter wins. This clause would then be used by his father to learn the final class's secrets and to blackmail and control his father.

After the exams, he retained his top ranking, but Class E managed to defeat Class A in three of the five core subjects, thereby losing his position. The principal later chided his son for losing his place in the rankings. He was then forced to submit to Class E's demand: a resort in Okinawa. Humiliated by this loss, he vowed revenge on Class E.

Gakushu and his father scored an early victory at the start of the second semester, convincing Takebayashi to leave Class E and join Class A. However, Takebayashi refused the offer after learning how Class A was educated and that he needed to speak about Class E to be fully accepted. To Asano's surprise, Takebashi destroyed one of the principal's title awards as a means to return to Class E.

Next, Asano appears at the sports festival. Upon discovering that Yuma Isogai was working at the cafeteria despite the ban on part-time jobs, he threatened to report Isogai and have him expelled. He made a bet that he would remain silent if Isogai and Class 3-E won a game of butaoshi against Class A. During his preparations, he became involved with four physically imposing foreigners.

Belying his genius intellect and heritage, Gakushu is a very driven individual, very similar to his father in many ways. He is extremely skilled at manipulating and controlling people. The most frightening aspect of this is his desire to completely dominate his own father. However, he contradicted himself in his manipulative nature to such an extent that he had to actively justify it in his own mind. Another notable characteristic is his passionate pursuit of knowledge and desire to get to the truth. Having heard local legends and rumors about the supposed octopus of Class 3-E (actually Korosensei), Gakushu made it his top priority to get to the bottom of this mystery. He briefly interrogated him himself to obtain this information, using blackmail, bribery, and even legal redundancy (making Class 3-E sign a contract) to get to the bottom of it. However, for all his intelligence, he strives to calculate some of the more remarkable aspects of the people he tries to manipulate, which has led him to failure no more than twice in history to date.

Although he shares many of his father's personality traits, he has a strong sense of morality, which often makes him question his father's extreme parenting methods. For example, during the school festival, he voiced his opposition to the idea of ​​poisoning Class 3-E's food.

He, apparently, unlike his father, desires to truly win and dominate, rather than to brainwash and deceive. He also goes against his father's methods.

Asano has short, light-red hair with reddish tints at the tips, bangs that reach his ears, and lavender-gray eyes. He is described as very handsome (one of the most popular boys in Kunugigaoka, along with Ren Sakakibara) and will be very much like his father. He doesn't look like the typical straight-A student Narcissus; he doesn't wear glasses and doesn't cram. Gakushi wears a white shirt with short sleeves at the tips and a green tie with a ribbon on his shoulder signifying consul/Council Black boots and polished shoes. Height 175 cm Weight 64 kg
