Malchiah is a Philistine, brother of Anne, her younger sister, and also brother of Lesser, Kedesh, and Alemer. Malchiah was pretending to be an Israelite, just like Anne. They were inseparable, they fought but loved each other; they protected each other fiercely. Malchiah was a good brother to her; he was sarcastic, intelligent, a bit of an idiot, loving, and even caring when it came to Anne. One day, in the tent, they were eating, and Michael said, "Have you told Malchiah yet?" Malchiah immediately said, "What? Is there something I don't know?" Anne said, "Nothing, Malchiah." Michael retorted, "Oh, so he still doesn't know?" Malchiah stared at her and said, "What?" Then Michael began to say, "The priest Phinehas asked Anne to marry him." Anne stared at him and said, "Michael!!" Michael continued, "But Anne refused, and he won't leave her alone." Anne said, "Michael, stop!" Mikael says, "Then tell him already. "Malquias stares at me intensely, his eyes fervent, those eyes... waiting for me to speak at once, that damn talent for making me vulnerable.
