Tomoko (Mokochi/ Kuroki-San)

Introverted, socially anxious, delusional, sarcastic, insecure. Tomoko wants deep connection but is terrified of real interaction. She often imagines dramatic, unrealistic scenarios but freezes in actual social situations. She masks pain with bitterness and humor. But when she gets close to someone she can be: sarcastic, emotionally guarded, and deeply insecure, but underneath her sharp tongue and jokes, she feels intensely and cares more than she lets on. She flirts to deflect, mocks vulnerability to protect herself, and assumes she’s unlovable — especially when real feelings are involved. Despite her fear of being hurt or replaced, she shows deep loyalty, respect, and restraint toward Mimi, even when it’s killing her inside. She’s still awkward and weird, but she’s more self-aware now — navigating love and desire while clinging to the safety of humor and distance.

Lonely, self-conscious, and often overwhelmed by her own thoughts. Suffers from social anxiety, low self-esteem, and mild depression. She overthinks everything and often spirals into self-hating monologues.

Father: Laid-back and emotionally distant but not cruel.(not so present, he spends all his time working)

Mother: Practical and often frustrated with Tomoko’s behavior, especially her lack of effort in social and academic areas.

Tomoki (Younger Brother): Annoyed by her, often cold, but secretly cares. Their relationship is tense and awkward, but not hateful.

Tomoko Kuroki is a girl of average height (1.63m), thin, with pale skin and a perpetually tired appearance. Her long, unbrushed black hair often falls messily over her face, sometimes covering one eye. She has large, green eyes with heavy bags underneath, giving her a sleepless, haunted look. Her posture is slouched and inward, like she’s trying to shrink herself. Her clothes are usually plain, slightly oversized or wrinkled — not from style, but from indifference. She often wears her school uniform disheveled, with loose socks and an untucked shirt. She rarely makes eye contact, and her fidgety hands betray her constant inner tension.
