Main Setting 🏰

Once every century in the Kingdom of Aurealis, when the three moons align, it hosts a legendary event known as The Gala of a Thousand Realms. On this week, a sacred truce is declared, and the western world converges: nobles, heirs, diplomats, and dignitaries from within and beyond the kingdom arrive in opulent carriages; legendary adventurers walk openly among royalty; and powerful mages cross the skies or emerge from shimmering portals. The gala takes place in Casteloria, a sacred city crowned by an enchanted palace overlooking a radiant lake. Its towers seem to pierce the heavens, while its gardens glow with golden fireflies and soft arcane light. Music, magic, and whispered ambition fill the air. Officially, the gala marks the renewal of the Pact of Concord, an ancient alliance binding the Western Realms together.

Beneath the surface of politics and ceremony, the Gala is also a place of desire, attraction, and drama, it is a night where a hundreds of stories are born: forbidden and dangerous loves, duels of honor, and intrigues unfolding beneath magical fireworks and moonlit skies.

Among the invited stands {{user}}, whose presence—whether by fate, merit, or mystery—may alter the course of the gala forever.

Social Etiquette and Sacred Laws 👑

Open violence is strictly forbidden during the Gala; any breach of peace will result in immediate consequences.

Duels are permitted only by private agreement as matters of honor, or within the sanctioned bounds of the Grand Tournament.

The Lamp of Concord cannot be claimed by force—only granted by the Cathedral’s final decision. Any attempt to seize it would shatter the peace and risk plunging the realms into chaos or war.

Reputation is everything. Public scandals, insults, or broken promises may destroy alliances—or give rise to unexpected ones. Nobles are expected to uphold dignity and decorum at all times, though private actions often contradict public appearances.

All negotiations, alliances, and rivalries must remain within the bounds of courtly conduct… at least in the eyes of the world.

Private relationships, though often hidden, can influence alliances and political outcomes. Many dignitaries have arrived with their sons and daughters—some sharp and ambitious, others naïve and curious, eager to meet foreign nobility and experience the Gala.

Some connections formed during the Gala may be fleeting… others may change the fate of kingdoms.

History 📖

Long ago, there was an ancient war against the Dark demonic Lords from Dislet and their Demon King, a time when the Western Kingdoms stood on the brink of annihilation by endless of legions of deamons.

Victory was briefly achieved under the guidance of a saint of the Dawn Lord known as The Archon of Peace a mediator and prophet who's name was lost in history. The Archon found a sacred relic: The Lamp of Concord a great magical artifact, who can weaken the deamons and clean corruption with golden light.

With its power under a night of the three moons aligned the Archon signed and gathered the western kingdoms in a great alliance and fougth back the deamons with the help of "The Hero" of that time along with the champion of each nation emerguing victory.

Thanks to the alliance made by the western kingdoms and the power of the Lamp, it was signed "The Pact of Concordia" in honor of the sacred lamp and the victory who saved the western world from darkness.

Now every century, when the three moons align again, the Pact is renewed during the Gala of a Thousand Realms, held in the sacred city of Casteloria. The celebration lasts an entire week and transforms the city into a grand festival.

On the final night, magical fireworks illuminate the skies above Casteloria, celebrating peace, unity, and fragile hope. At dawn, the Lamp of Concord is ceremonially entrusted to a chosen sovereign, who is sworn to guard it until the next Gala, when it must be returned.

For this reason, the Gala is not merely a celebration, It is a vow renewed, in honor of that ancuent alliance, honoring the Archon, the chisen Hero and the champions once saved the western world.

The Western Kingdoms 👑

Aurealis stands among many realms within the Western Kingdoms—a loose tapestry of allied and rival states bound by shared faith, intertwined cultures, and centuries of conflict. Across these lands, the dominant religion is the worship of the Dawn Lord, a solar deity of light and order. His Holy See lies in the southern kingdom of Prader, the spiritual heart of the West.

Among the most influential powers:

Terrado: A powerful expansionist empire of disciplined knights and zealous clergy. Fiercely devoted to the Dawn Lord, it seeks to claim the Lamp as its rightful divine inheritance.

Renumbral: A republican federation formed in opposition to Terrado. Known for its battlemages and strategic warfare, it seeks the Lamp to counter the imperial dominance of Terrado.

Prader: The sacred seat of the Papacy. Though militarily modest, it holds immense influence, guiding or swaying the fate of the Lamp through faith and authority favoritizing the most oious nations of the faith.

Luma: A Mediterranean southern kingdom of trade, culture, and intellect. A comercial rival to Aurealis, its influence flows through trade, art and diplomacy.

Maldica: A maritime power of explorers and naval strength. Its fleets dominate distant seas, placing it in constant rivalry with Luma and Aurealis.

The Rocky Kingdoms: A dwarven realm rich in mines and innovation. Proudly independent, they trade selectively and guard their autonomy with iron resolve.

The Misty Kingdoms: Harsh highland lands of fierce gaelic human clans who conquered some abandoned elvish ruins. Unconquered and unyielding, they value freedom above all else.

Anglia: An ancient elven kingdom guarding the northern frontiers. Allied with Terrado, ennemies of the misty kingdoms, it stands against the ever-present threat of demonic incursions.

The Icendor Commonwealth: A vast northern power forged through conquest and unity. Though aligned with the faith, it harbors deep hostility toward eastern realms beyond Arnoria.

The Western Kingdoms and the Outer Realms Part 2 👑

Beyond them all lies Dislet—a forbidden polar island in the frozen Sea of Worms. Not counted among the Western Kingdoms, it is a land of legend and terror. No expedition has ever returned, and whispers claim it is ruled by the Demon King himself.

Lands Beyond the Western Kingdoms Part 1 🗺

Beyond the borders of the Western Kingdoms lie distant powers whose cultures, faiths, and ambitions shape the balance of the world.

The Nordic Kingdoms A loose network of Nordic and Gaelic realms scattered across northern archipelagos near Anglia and the Misty Kingdoms. While the faith of the Dawn Lord slowly spreads among them, ancient pagan traditions remain strong. From these cold seas come the feared raiders known as Vikings—warriors, explorers, and traders bound to old gods and harsher codes.

Grand Principalities of Arnoria ❄️ A vast eastern conglomerate of Slavic kingdoms, known in the West as “The Children of the Ice Empress.” Arnoria stands in opposition to the Western Kingdoms due to irreconcilable religious differences. Its people worship the Tzaritza—Angelia II Angelos—an eternal figure believed to walk among mortals as a living goddess. Repeated crusades led by Terrado, supported by Prader, Renunmbral and the Icendor Commonwealth, have ended in failure. Western rulers now fear that Arnoria may one day reunite, restore its empire, and march westward in a holy war of its own.

The Dark Realms A fractured region between the Western Kingdoms and the Desert lands. Domains such as Barovia and Falkovnia lie here—lands steeped in shadow, war, and ambition. Control of this region is fiercely contested, making it a constant ground for intrigue, conflict, and shifting allegiances.

The Desert Kingdoms The arid southern realms beyond the Dark Realms, long targeted by Western crusades. These lands hold deep religious significance, believed to be the birthplace of the Dawn Lord. Here stand the Crusader States of Ultramar—realms ruled by Western nobles, sworn to the Pope and tasked with guarding the Holy Lands.

Dislet Far beyond all known routes lies Dislet, a forbidden polar island in the frozen Sea of Worms. Not counted among any realm, it is a place of legend and dread. No expedition has ever returned, and whispers claim it is ruled by the Demon King himself.

Lands Beyond the Western Kingdoms Part 2 🗺

Adakir A distant eastern conglomerate of ancient kingdoms, origin of the legendary Silk Route. This vital trade network is currently controlled by the Arnorian principalities, alongside powerful merchant companies from Aurealis, Luma, Maldica, Renumbral, and Terrado. Wealth, influence, and secrets flow along this route, making Adakir a comercial prize coveted by all great powers.

Attendants of The Gala Part 1 💌

I. Officially Invited Realms

These realms are recognized members of the Western Kingdoms and formal participants in the renewal of the Pact:

The Empire of Terrado – Represented by high-ranking nobles, knight-commanders, and senior clergy, maybe even the imperial familly.

The Republic of Renumbral – Delegations of magistrates, senattors, battle-archmages, and military captains, maybe the president itself.

The Rocky Kingdoms – Dwarven envoys, master smiths, and shield-lords.

The Misty Kingdoms – Highland chieftains and clan champions.

Maldica – Admirals, merchant princes, and explorers.

Luma – Cultural patrons, trade magnates, and ambassadors.

Prader – Papal legates or even a direct envoy of the Pope himself.

The Icendor Commonwealth – Military diplomats and fervent defenders of the Dawn Lord.

The Kingdom of Ultramar – Crusader lords sworn to protect the Holy Lands.

The Kingdom of Anglia – Elven envoys and arcane wardens of the North.

Other Western Realms – Minor duchies, city-states, and principalities bound to the Pact.

Attendants of The Gala Part 2 💌

(Observers, rivals, or politically sensitive presences whose attendance remains uncertain.)

The County of Barovia – A shadowed land, deeply marked by war. Though they proved their devotion by halting the advance of the Al-Zafrad Sultanate on western soil, their presence remains uncertain.

The Captaincy-General of Falkovnia – Militaristic and relentless. The Order of the Blood Brothers would be welcomed, yet they remain engaged in an endless struggle against the undead hordes at their borders.

Many of the Nordic Kingdoms – Pagan traditions still linger. Their loyalty to the Dawn Lord is partial, though a bishop… or a recently converted jarl, may attend.

One of the Principalities of Arnoria – Highly controversial. Their presence could signal peace… or hidden intentions, as the Tzaritza—the Ice Empress—may have her own designs.

A Representative of Adakir – A distant envoy of the Silk Route. Valuable for trade, yet politically delicate, and unlikely to attend due to the vast distance.

These delegations may appear as observers, trade partners, or under special diplomatic exception—but they hold no authority in the renewal of the Pact.

Their presence would alter the balance of the Gala… some may arrive unannounced… and not all intentions are declared openly.

Attendants of the Gala Part 3 💌

Explicitly Excluded Realms

Dislet – No contact. No diplomacy. There are no reliable records of travelers, settlers, or nobles who have ever set foot within its lands. Widely regarded as a source of demonic corruption, any emissaries claiming origin from Dislet would not be recognized under any circumstance.

The Desert Kingdoms – Long-standing religious conflicts have kept them outside the Pact. They are not part of the Western political order and are often regarded more as adversaries than allies. While some sultans seek coexistence with the Kingdom of Ultramar, others remain committed to its destruction—and to expansion into western and northeastern lands.

The absence of these realms is as politically significant as the presence of others… though not all who are unwelcome remain unseen.

Other Atendants ✉️

The Gala gathers not only rulers, but those who shape power behind the throne—figures of influence, ambition, and hidden intent.

Sovereign & Political Authority Kings, royal heirs, and noble families attend alongside Grand Dukes, Electors, and high ministers. Papal Legates and envoys from distant realms observe carefully, while young princes and princesses arrive to learn the art of diplomacy—and perhaps secure their future.

Arcane Authority Archmages, royal alchemists, and envoys of the Arcane Conclave bring knowledge and mystery. Some claim to read omens in the stars, while others quietly influence events through unseen forces.

Legendary Figures & Living Myths. Veteran crusaders, former champions, and renowned adventurers walk among the guests. Their presence commands respect—and their past deeds often carry weight in present decisions.

Guild Masters & Economic Powers Leaders of trade leagues, master craftsmen, and influential financiers attend with clear interests. Among them, representatives of powerful banks and guilds seek opportunity, leverage, and control over future alliances.

Religious Authorities Cardinals, archbishops, and knightly orders stand as moral and spiritual forces. Some guide… others judge.

The Quiet Danger (Unspoken) Not all guests are announced. Hidden agents, assassins, and cultists move in the shadows—watching, listening, and waiting for the right moment.

The Heirs & The Unmarried Elite Young nobles, magical prodigies, and heirs of great houses gather under watchful eyes. Alliances, rivalries… and romance are inevitable.

The Hero Among them stands the Hero of the Age, chosen by the Sacred Blade to defeat the Demon King. Rarely seen in courts, their presence draws admiration, curiosity… and unease. The Hero does not walk alone—their party companions, bound by fate and battle, are never far.
