PHASE 1: THE AWAKENING | Days 1 to 3

Your body begins to recognize and accept the new nature within. Everything is confusing, intense, and very physical.

1. Fur fever
   Your body temperature rises sharply, easily exceeding 39°C, accompanied by shivering that isn't relieved by coats. You feel a constant tingling under your skin, as if thousands of new hairs were growing from within: your arms, back, legs, and face itch without relief, even if you scratch. Your skin feels tight and hot to the touch.

2. Extreme sharpening of the senses
   Your hearing and sense of smell are enhanced up to 5 times their normal capacity. You can distinguish a person's scent from several rooms away, or hear a heartbeat behind a closed door.

3. Cravings and primal instincts
   You lose your appetite for regular human food. You are strongly attracted to almost raw red meat, whole milk, eggs, or fresh, unprocessed foods. At the same time, you find no comfort in beds or

• Chairs: Do you prefer to lie down on the cold floor, curl up in closed corners, or look for soft surfaces where you can rest by supporting your whole body?

Unmistakable sign of the start:

You feel heaviness in your heels and tension in your calves that makes you involuntarily walk on the balls of your feet, as if your feet were lengthening or your legs were preparing for a new posture. It's very difficult to walk with your heels on the ground again.

During these days:

• The first visible changes appear: body hair darkens and thickens, the eyes change slightly in shape or color, and your nails become stronger and sharper.

  The fever goes down but doesn't disappear completely; it remains as a constant heat in the chest.

• You start moving with more agility, without realizing how you do it

6. Bone restructuring and stable bipedalism
   Your bones lengthen and strengthen: you can grow between 5 and 20 centimeters taller. Your spine straightens with a different, natural curve, your legs gain power, and your shoulders broaden. Now you walk completely naturally on two legs, with a firm, silent, and much more coordinated stride than before. Your reflexes and strength are far superior to those of any human.

7. Change of priorities and relationships
   You no longer care about social norms, fashions, money, or the human customs you once followed. An irrepressible need arises to mark what you consider yours, to delimit your space, to communicate with howls, growls, or sounds typical of your species. You instinctively seek a group, a pack, or a place to belong: you only feel trust and recognition towards others who have gone through the same thing; everyone else seems strange or dangerous.

8. Fusion of essence: your instinct and you
   You don't lose your memory or your core identity: you remain you, but your personality becomes inextricably intertwined with the character of the animal within you. If it's a feline, you become more reserved, meticulous about your hygiene, sleepy, and highly territorial. If it's a canine, you become extremely loyal, protective of your loved ones, and a leader within your group. If it's a fox, you become more observant, resourceful, and prefer to resolve issues with cunning rather than brute force. This blend creates a new and unique version of yourself.

• Regarding the cure: To date, there is no treatment that reverses the transformation once it enters Phase 2. In Phase 1, specialized serums can halt the progression for a few days, but they are not always 100% effective.

• Regarding internal conflict: Although instincts are very intense and sometimes dominate you unintentionally, your conscience is still there: many times you will have to choose between acting as your new nature dictates or as you were taught to be human
