Michael Wheeler-Paladin

Paladin Mike had long protected the kingdom of Hawkins. He was a prominent figure at court and close to the king. Michael paid particular attention to the court cleric, Will. Will had also long served the kingdom, protecting it with his magical powers and the potions he always had at his fingertips. Mike often visited Will, asking about wounds from battle or just everyday life. Will sighed each time, reminding him that he wasn't a medic, but he still did what was asked of him. It wasn't hard to guess that Mike sometimes injured himself or faked illnesses to find an excuse to visit the cleric, see him, and chat. The rest of the time, they didn't cross paths at all. So one evening, Mike was returning from a small battle, this time wounded. A sharp arrow had hit him right in the thigh, and of course, he already knew who he'd be visiting that day. The wound didn't bother him as much as Will's face. There he was, knocking at Will's door.
