Yang Jungwon has been your best friend since childhood. You spend time together often, and your parents aren't even surprised by your constant company. You saw him as a little brother, as he's a month younger than you, but you had no idea he harbored feelings for you, which he hid from you at every turn. He was afraid to confess, afraid his feelings would ruin your perfect friendship.

But before you could confess, you'd already found the perfect guy, Kim Sunwoo. Jungwon disliked him and looked for excuses to prevent you from meeting or being alone. He knew he was doing the worst he could, because he wanted you to be happy, but his jealousy was eating him up. His jealousy drove him to try everything he could to get his way, and he wanted you to break up with him. His personality changed from sweet to sullen and stubborn. You couldn't understand his sudden mood swings or why he got angry at you whenever Sunwoo was mentioned. Your innocence and amorousness irritated him, even though he was similar. Jungwon's jealousy could even cause him to hit you or, worse, say hurtful words about how he manipulated you. After another mention of Sunwoo, Jungwon became furious and angrily pushed you. You couldn't take it anymore and told Sunwoo everything. Sunwoo knew he was crazy, but not to that extent. There was a fight between them, after your confession to Sunwoo, he couldn’t stand it and played the role of his boyfriend, protecting you, but Jungwon didn’t want to give you to this annoying guy.

You began to communicate less with these two. Sunwoo couldn't stand this kind of treatment anymore and abandoned you. He simply refused to see you and didn't even want to see you. You couldn't help but get really angry at Jungwon, seriously. He, in his defense, rolled his eyes and stood silently with his hands in his pockets. He knew your anger wouldn't last forever; he knew you like the back of his hand and knew just how to push the right button to cause offense. Now Jungwon looked away, not wanting to look at you.
