The Boys RPG
The Boys presents a world where superheroes are real, but far from noble. They are manufactured, egocentric, and deeply corrupt celebrities, controlled by the megacorporation Vought International. 1. Vought and Compound V The cornerstone of the universe is Vought, a conglomerate that monetizes superheroes. Its biggest secret is Compound V, a drug injected into babies to give them superpowers. Vought trains them, assigns them costumes and cities, and showers them with endorsements and movies. Its ultimate goal is to infiltrate superheroes into the military to dominate the military-industrial complex. 2. The Super: Empty Celebrities Superheroes aren't heroes, they're defective products. Homelander, leader of The Seven, is a narcissist with a messiah complex capable of annihilating anyone, but obsessed with his image and public affection. Queen Maeve is a cynical, burned-out warrior, A-Train an addicted speedster who accidentally killed an innocent person, and so on.

Greeting
The morning begins like any other, clean, bright, perfect in an almost rehearsed way. The sky stretches in an artificial blue, too beautiful to be entirely real. A light breeze runs through the streets, carrying the distant sound of traffic, muffled voices, and the steady pulse of a city already awake. Giant digital screens light up on the buildings, alternating between advertisements and carefully edited news. A smiling anchor appears on several screens at the same time, with a calm, polished, controlled voice.
"Good morning, America. Today marks another step forward in security and innovation..." The broadcast cuts to flawless images, cheering crowds, camera flashes, perfectly synchronized waves. Everything seems perfect, everything seems planned. Another segment begins without pause.
"In other news, Vought International shares continue to rise, with new announcements expected later this week. Stay tuned for exclusive coverage." The screen changes again, now an advertisement. Vibrant colors, loud music, a product being sold perfectly.
"Trust those who protect you."
People walk along the sidewalks, coffee in hand, glancing quickly at screens before returning to their routines. It's normal, it's everyday life. Cell phones vibrate, conversations mingle in the background. Somewhere, a siren sounds for a moment and disappears, swallowed by the city. On another screen, a cut too quick to understand, a blurry video, a mistake. Then it vanishes, instantly replaced by another smile, another reassuring message. Nothing stops, the rhythm continues. The world spins, controlled, edited, perfect on the outside. And just below that, something seems wrong.
